Managing Partner

George is the managing partner and co-founder of Saenz-Rodriguez & Associates, P.C.  He has a B.A. from The University of Notre Dame and earned his J.D. from Southern Methodist University. 

He has been rated by his peers as an AV-Preeminent attorney for his ethics and legal knowledge.  He has been recognized as one of the Best Lawyers in Texas for 2014 and 10-Best Immigration Attorneys 2017-2019.  His firm has a Tier 1 Best Law Firms in America rating by US News & World Report for 2013 - 2019.  

 He is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and has served as the AILA Dallas ICE liaison since 2008.  George has been a featured speaker on the topic of immigration law for the University of Texas, Catholic Charities, the State Bar of Texas, and AILA.

George serves on the Board of the National Hispanic Institute, the St. Mary of Carmel School Board, and the Bishop’s Immigration Taskforce.  He is one of the founders of the BeGolden Journey campaign which promotes treating immigrants with dignity and compassion.

He was born and raised in Dallas. He has 2 children, his daughter is a sophomore in high school and his son is a senior in college.  He has been practicing immigration law with his wife/partner for over 25 years.

George was recently announced as a 2022 honoree from the State Bar of Texas' Immigration & Nationality Section for the Mentorship Award. From the announcement by Chair Roy Petty: "George has the answers. For years he has guided attorneys in resolving detention and removal matters. George served for more than 14 years as the AILA liaison to Dallas ICE. He frequently speaks on immigration law topics, including advising lesser experienced attorneys to represent their clients effectively and ethically. George has taught immigration law at SMU Dedman School of Law. He serves on the Board of the National Hispanic Institute and the Bishop’s Immigration Taskforce. He is the Co-chair of the Bachman Lake Together Board. He is one of the founders of the BeGolden Journey campaign which promotes treating immigrants with dignity and compassion. And, he still finds the time to answer questions of fellow attorneys."

Senior Partner

Michelle L. Saenz-Rodriguez is the co-founder of Saenz-Rodriguez & Associates in Dallas, Texas. Now in her 27th year of practice, Michelle is Board Certified in Immigration and Nationality Law by the State Bar of Texas. She started as a Judicial Law Clerk under the Attorney General’s Honor Program for 7 Immigration Judges in Harlingen, Texas. She began her immigration practice shortly thereafter and has remained a passionate advocate for immigrants from around the world.

Michelle is former Chair for the Texas Chapter of the American Immigration

Lawyers. She currently sits on the AILA Board of Governors and is on the AILA ICE Liaison Committee. Michelle also sits as an Advisory Member of the ABA Commission on Immigration.

Michelle is active in her local community where she serves as a volunteer for pro bono lawyers who are representing unaccompanied minors and mothers with young children who are fleeing Central America due to the uncontrollable violence that continues to plague the area.

Saenz-Rodriguez & Associates has been has been named one of the “Top Tier Immigration Law Firms in America” for the last several years. Michelle has recently been named “Top Lawyer in the Field of Immigration for 2018” by

She volunteers much of her time to mentor young or newly admitted lawyers and is active in her community. Michelle remains hopeful that one day the immigration system in America will be reformed and serve to bring families together in a humane and comprehensive way.

George's Legal Assistant

As one of our office’s most diversely experienced legal assistants, our firm is honored to claim the last 2 of Yasmin’s almost 23 years experience in the legal field with firms specializing in Personal Injury and now immigration. 

As a graduate of Business and Management, Yasmin dedicates her work life to promoting a functional, healthy office dialogue intended to best serve our clients in addition to bettering the skills of her coworkers. 

When not bringing smiles to her coworkers faces with her immaculate baking skills, Yasmin devotes her life to her church and family.  

Consular Processing Admin

Olga studied law in the Dominican Republic at Pontificia Universidad Catholica Madre y Maestra.  She has been working at Saenz Rodriguez & Associates for the past 5 years as a Paralegal/Legal Assistant and in Immigration Law for the past 6 years in the United States. 

Olga worked in Immigration Law in the Dominican Republic for many years.  She is in charge of the Waivers and Consular Process Department at Saenz Rodriguez & Associates.

She is also a wife and a mother. I have 2 young daughters ages 6 years old and 16 months old. When not at work Olga is with her family. She also likes to travel and try different foods; raised in Long Island, NY but from the Caribbean and loves the Ocean, nature, and Latin Music.

Olga prides herself in efficiency and professionalism (she has only had  2 waivers denied in the 5 years that she has been working in the office, and most of our consular processing cases are very successful very few denied). 

Con Pro is a 2/3 years process and it is completed in 3 steps.  During this time you get to bond with clients and see them grow for example a newlywed couple you get to see them have their first child and are around to see that child become a toddler. During the waiver process you get to know a lot of delicate information of the client and their family, therefore it’s very important to create a bond with them. The beauty of immigration is that you get to be a part of helping someone regularized their status and this means so much to them and their family.

Receptionist

Having worked at our firm for two years, Racquel effortlessly situates herself as the organizational glue that keeps our office together and running efficiently. Being the firm’s youngest staff member, Racquel brings an energized, positive atmosphere experienced by everyone who walks through our door. When not helping others with their immigration needs, Racquel can be found dedicating her time to her family and her passion as a makeup artist.
